Model for the Supply of Temporary Staff:

Merit act as an employment agency when supplying your business with temporary staff. The minimum you can expect from our recruitment process is as follows:

  • On site evaluation of your job roles and company culture.
  • The searching, selection, interviewing and testing of temporary staff.
  • Compliance to the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Regulations 2006.
  • Reference checking.
  • The processing of wages, national insurance contributions, holiday pay and year-end tax calculations (including access to our bespoke on-line working hours software Msheet).
  • Post-placement process.
  • Employee contract termination.

Each of our clients has their own needs and as such we set out and agree an SLA based on their requirements—a typical example of these can be found below:

KPI’s:

  • All candidates are fully registered, interviewed and assessed prior to placement, with ID & Visa and reference checks undertaken.
  • Consultant to meet with all new starters onsite on their first day (as per client request).
  • 4 hour guarantee call to ensure new starters are of sufficient quality.
  • End of day call for all new starters (to both client and candidate).
  • End of week call to all temporary workers and clients.
  • Monthly management report to all clients benchmarking performance.
